Your BBB serving Northwest Florida was recognized at the 39th
Annual International Assembly of Better Business Bureaus held Oct. 4-7 in
Boston, Mass. in the Outstanding BBB Awards.
Your BBB serving Northwest Florida received two awards: Public Awareness – Overall Communications
and Outstanding Charity Review Program.
Based on your BBB’s efforts to
raise awareness of BBB programs and services and to increase inquiries received
and decrease complaints processed locally, BBB|Northwest Florida received the
Outstanding BBB Award for Public Awareness – Overall Communications.
Prior to the holiday season last
year, your BBB created its first local Charity Giving Guide based on the
results of its Charity Review program. As a result of its efforts to increase
participation in the Charity Review Program and share the results of the
charity reviews publicly, BBB|Northwest Florida received the Outstanding
Charity Review Program Award.
The purpose of the Outstanding
BBB Awards program is to recognize innovation, celebrate and share great ideas,
encourage improvement, help address challenges and continuously improve the BBB
system.
